About the Role

Veloce Media Agency is seeking experienced and passionate Senior Editors to join the editorial team of SpeedHolics, our independent platform dedicated to classic motorsport and car culture. As a Senior Editor, you’ll be responsible for developing, editing, and overseeing premium editorial content that reflects SpeedHolics' high standards in storytelling, historical accuracy, and aesthetic sophistication.

You will work closely with a global network of contributors, as well as the Editor-in-Chief, to ensure a consistent editorial voice across both print and digital media. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a refined editorial sensibility, deep knowledge of classic cars and motorsport heritage, and a drive to contribute to one of the most respected voices in the automotive storytelling space.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development & Editing: write, edit, and refine long-form articles, features, interviews, and historical deep-dives. Ensure clarity, tone, accuracy, and alignment with SpeedHolics' editorial style.

Story Origination & Contributor Guidance: pitch compelling ideas and themes for upcoming issues and online features. Provide editorial guidance and feedback to writers and subject-matter experts.

Fact-Checking & Research Oversight: guarantee factual integrity through meticulous research and validation, especially when dealing with historical content, rare vehicles, and heritage brands.

Collaboration with Visual Team: work closely with the Art Director and photo editors to align visuals and layouts with the narrative. Review and curate photography to ensure visual excellence.

Publishing Workflow: assist in planning and executing the editorial calendar across SpeedHolics’ key content verticals: Insights, Stories, Heroes, Lifestyle, Market.

Digital & Print Alignment: contribute to the production of annual print publications, collector books, and photobooks, while ensuring content is also optimized for digital formats.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an editor, journalist, or writer, preferably in automotive, lifestyle, or cultural journalism

• Demonstrated passion and knowledge of classic cars, motorsport heritage, and collector culture

• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English; strong attention to tone, structure, and voice

• Previous experience in guiding contributors and managing editorial projects

• Familiarity with visual storytelling, photography curation, and layout collaboration

• Proficient with editorial tools and digital publishing platforms

• English fluency required; Italian or other European languages are a plus

• Self-driven, well-organized, and committed to Veloce’s values of quality, independence, and timeless storytelling
